Stepping Out of the Shadow. A Mini-series on mirrorwork. (Part Two)

There's something about a person who genuinely falls in love with themselves.
The Glow shines from Within.
Confession: A few years ago I was deep in anxiety and depression. But I can gratefully say, I’m not in the same space anymore. A changed mindset is the key to coping and overcoming the “comfort feeling” anxiety and depression brings.
No; it’s NOT comfortable at all : but in a version of our subconscious thoughts; we record it as such, and mentally it attempts to keep us there. But, we have the power to redirect our energy.
Affirmations helped to affirm the woman I knew existed, which allowed me to bring her into existence. Affirming who I AM and the Woman I knew I could be allowed me to discover
Our Power is in shifting Our Mindset !

The transition is in the work. Not the escape from the reality we create. While our situations may differ; and how we choose to cope; the pain and/or trigger usually festers; until we are able to name it. This is where affirmations help to release the negative views we place upon ourselves by re-recording the subconscious thought.
Once we name it— forgive it—- and purposely work though the resentments it can no longer have power over us.
A f f i r m a t i o n : The action of affirming something or being affirmed. Emotional support or encouragement.
Continuing the series from the previous post (Part One, of the Mirror-Work series) Listed below are the 7 basic fundamentals that helped give me a better understanding of it's purpose and the benefits. To further explain the fundamental, I've paired them with an affirmation and how to use its power. By affirming ourselves and/or our lives; we Speak Power and give L I F E to the form of word(s).

1. Mirror Work is #Intentional.
Affirmation example. I AM intentional about the choices I make in my life. I AM affirming who I AM; accepting my past experiences and honoring my Future Self.
2. Mirror Work is #Internal.
Affirmation example. I have the power to decide how I use my time and energy. I AM preparing myself for what is to come; by honoring my present emotions.
3. Mirror Work is #Ongoing. Change happens with time; I understand & allow myself the space to grow and heal as my heart and soul is ready.
4. Mirror Work is #Releasing. I AM releasing. As I release; I Accept, Embrace, and Support my well-being. I choose to honor my internal guidance.
5. Mirror Work is #Accepting. I accept my past for the creation of today. I AM present in this moment; and honoring Life as it happens.
6. Mirror Work is #Embracing. I AM embracing abundance in all forms; Internally, Physically, and Financially.
7. Mirror Work is #Supporting. Affirmations are positive statements that can help challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts. When we repeat them often, and believe in them, we can start to make positive changes.
"Affirmations are designed to encourage an optimistic mindset." Placing I AM in front of the phrase speaks the intention into the desire.
As you grow within your journey of Mirror-Work; become intentional about the affirmations you personally choose. Allow your soul to speak not only the desires you want; but those that are needed. Listening to our bodies; creates the connection with the mind.
